What You'll Learn

Business Basics

We will touch on business basics and I will share my experiences with tax, GST, insurance, the best subscriptions to have, tricks of the trade, how I broke into the wedding market, marketing and will answer all your questions!

Photography

This portion is for everyone, beginner to pro. I won't be teaching general camera settings (unless you specifically ask). I'll teach the parts that make a great photographer.

Posing, lighting, flattery, connection and prompts, human behaviour, how to shoot with flash at a wedding, client experience overall.

Client Psychology

I prefer to call it human behaviour because I am not a psychologist but this gets my point across. There is SO much to learn about human behaviour that can help you become an incredible photographer. How to read people, how to gain trust, so much more.

I'll teach you my ways.

Editing Tips

I am giving away a preset pack to everyone in the workshop! I will go over how to best use them and give you editing tips as well. I'll go over basic colour theory to help you achieve the skin tones you're aiming for!

Styled Shoot

During the workshop we will be conducting a styled shoot with models in a stunning location. This will leave you with plenty of content for your socials and website!

A workbook and lunch is provided. Bring your laptop, card reader, camera, a pen and a water bottle. We will begin with an intro and some theory then move onto shooting both indoors and outdoors and finish with some editing tips, business basics and a Q&A where you'll have the opportunity to get your curiosities aired.

Love from my prior learners

I look to Esther as a mentor, muse and ally with my photography business.
